We are a group of women coming together to improve our community,
locally, nationally and internationally in a spirit of fellowship and
friendship.
We
participate in projects pertaining to Domestic Violence prevention, Arts in the
Community, Conservation-Beautification and Resource Management, Literacy,
Lifelong Learning, Helping Hands in the Community, Women’s Finance, Reaching
Out Internationally. United Nations, Citizenship, Community Safety and
Empowering Women.
Clubwomen are encouraged to select a area
of work where their interest lies. There is something for everyone.
The six departments of work are as
follows: Arts Department, Conservation
Department, Education Department, Home Life Department, International Affairs Department,
and Public Affairs Department.
Other areas of
involvement include Community Improvement, Leadership Development, Legislation
and Tallulah Falls School (owned and operated by the Georgia Federation since
1909).
